Chordata is the phylum that everyone is mostly connected to. We all stem from the Chordata phylum, it includes all humans and all other vertebrates animals. This classification contains a specific type of body plan. All Chordates, at some point in there life, has had pharyngeal slits, a dorsal nerve chord, a notochord, and a post-anal tail. The pharyngeal slits connect the inside of the throat to the back of the neck. The dorsal nerve chord runs down the back with nerve fibers on it, the notochord supports the dorsal nerve chord. The post- anal tail was just an opening where the anal cavity is supposed to be.

Koalas are tree dwelling animals. They usually walk in a 4 beat rhythm or gallop if they are going at a high velocity. Their body might not look muscular, but it is. They have a very good balance and they are able to climb trees with only their front paws. They are also very good swimmers.
Koalas sleep for part of the night and rise early and move around in the daytime. Koalas have five fingers on each front paw. Two of these fingers are used kind of like thumbs and allow them access to different movements. Their back paw is what is referred to as a "grooming claw".

Penguins are very uncomfortable and awkward walkers. This is due to their shape and size of their body. When they are walking straight up, they have to wobble and hop because their legs can't really move forward. This takes a lot of time and energy for the penguins to walk.
This is not so true when they are on their bellies. Penguins enjoy gliding on the ice on their bellies because it allows them to go faster and to be more comfortable when moving. The only thing that is difficult about gliding is getting up after arriving at your destination.

Platypus move on four webbed feet that allow them to swim. They are born with a spur on each hind leg. The woman falls off, but the mans always stays. These spurs allow them to kill small animals because there is venom and poison in them.
They spend most of their time in the water, searching for food, or even just doing nothing. They are very good swimmers, but they aren't as good on the ground. Their webbing is retractable when they need to dig their homes for the night.
